Questions
About Monolith 42.5R Structural
What builders ask our sales desk most often.
Can I use 42.5R for blocks?
You can, but you are paying for strength the block does not need. 32.5N or Blockmaster gives better value.
How soon can I remove props?
Side formwork after 24 hours in normal weather. Soffit props usually after 7 to 10 days for a typical residential slab, but your engineer decides.
Why does my slab crack on the surface?
Usually early drying. Cover and water the slab for seven days. Our curing site note explains how.
