Chapter IVThe room
One hundred and twelve seats in a room built for listening: a low stage, warm wood, soft light and no screens. Choose the stage front to feel the drums, a booth for a group, or the balcony for the full picture.
Chapter VKitchen
The kitchen serves until the last note: suya skewers, pepper soup, plantain three ways and a slow-cooked goat stew that regulars order before they sit down. Our drinks list leads with house zobo, kunu aya, fresh juices and mocktails made to order.

Chapter VIIIVoices
We came for one set and stayed for both. The room goes completely quiet when Halima sings.
Best sound in the city. You hear the bass properly, not just feel it.
Booked a booth for my parents’ anniversary. The band played their song.
The Tuesday jam is where I got brave enough to play in public.
