Consultant-led plastic surgery
A considered path to surgery, drawn room by room.
Lumiere is a small clinic in Effurun where every journey starts with a conversation and never with a deposit. Walk the house on the map, plan your dates, then meet a consultant surgeon for an honest hour.
Consultation N50,000, credited to your procedure if you go ahead. Example fee.
A drawn plan of the clinic house. Tap a number to read about each room, or open the full map from the header at any time.
The consultation journey
Eight stations, never rushed
This is the route every Lumiere patient walks, whether they come for an eyelid or a tummy tuck. The gold line on the map follows the same path through the house.
Enquiry
A coordinator calls back within one working day. No sales script, only questions about what you are hoping for and what worries you.
Video pre-consultation, if you are far away
Twenty minutes with a surgeon by video, so the trip to Effurun is worth making.
Consultation
An unhurried hour with a consultant surgeon. Medical history, examination with a chaperone present, and an honest view of what surgery can and cannot do.
Written plan
Drawn sketches, the risks in plain words and one all-inclusive estimate, by email and WhatsApp.
Cooling-off
Time to think, talk to family and ask more questions. We do not take a deposit in this period.
Pre-operative checks
Blood tests and a conversation with the consultant anaesthetist who will look after you.
Surgery
Theatre on Tuesdays and Thursdays only, so each list is never rushed.
Recovery and follow-up
A recovery suite facing the garden, nurse calls at home, and reviews at six weeks, six months and one year.

Our philosophy
We would rather say no than say yes too quickly.
Around one in five people who sit with our surgeons are advised against surgery, or towards something smaller. We think that is what a good consultation looks like.
- You only ever see a consultant surgeon, never a salesperson.
- We explain risks in plain words and write them down for you.
- No deposit is taken until your cooling-off period has passed.
- We do not publish before and after photos, because your result will be your own.

Safety, plainly
What happens behind the theatre doors
Safety is not a slogan here. It is a list of things that happen on every single case.
A consultant anaesthetist on every case
Not a nurse, not a trainee. Dr Seyi Adeyemo-Bello or one of two named colleagues meets you before surgery and stays with you throughout.
Power that never drops
Grid, two generators and a battery bank that switches in under a second.
Checks before you are accepted
Blood pressure, sugar, weight and medicines are reviewed. Some people are asked to wait.
A transfer plan
An agreement with a partner hospital in Warri for the rare day more care is needed (example).
A chaperone, always
Every examination has a chaperone present, and you may bring a relative into the room too.
The surgical safety checklist, read aloud
Before every incision the whole team pauses, confirms your name, the procedure and the side, and checks allergies and equipment. You can ask to hear it.
Safety and standardsFrom the founder
Good surgery is quiet. It should look like you on a well-rested morning, and it should never be decided in a hurry.
Dr Ifeoma Okonedo-Ruwa, consultant plastic surgeon and founder (example person)
In their words
What patients remember
Example reviews for this demo. We never ask patients to share photographs of themselves.
The surgeon told me my plan was too much for one operation and split it in two. Nobody had ever said that to me before.
I flew in from Abuja. The coordinator met me at the airport and the suite felt like a quiet hotel room with a nurse outside.
My keloid had come back twice elsewhere. Here it came with a year of follow-up visits, and they actually called to remind me.
Why we insist on a cooling-off period
Fourteen days can feel long when you have decided. Here is why we hold the line.
Scars, keloids and melanin-rich skin
What we plan differently, and what we ask of you after surgery.
Coming from Lagos, Abuja or abroad
Warri airport is about 20 minutes away. We arrange a driver and suggest nearby stays for the nights your surgeon advises.
Recovery and staysBegin with a conversation, not a commitment
Plan your journey online in three minutes, then book an hour with a consultant surgeon. The N50,000 consultation fee is credited to your procedure if you go ahead, and there is never pressure to.
