01The line map

Four lines, twenty five stops. Start where your question is.

The whole group is laid out like a transit map. Pharmacies and hospitals usually ride the Move line. Patients ride the Care line. Brand owners and regulators like the Make line. Tap a stop to go there.

Make line for plant tours, laboratory standards, batch checks and contract work.

Move line for stock, prices, cold chain windows and opening a trade account.

Care line for our pharmacies, hospital partners and safety reporting.

Company line for the story, careers, news and how to reach us.

02Where we are

The network, drawn to scale.

One plant, one laboratory, four cold chain hubs and nineteen Lumen pharmacies, with partner hospitals and programmes in between. Switch layers on and off, then tap a point to see what happens there.

04From formula to shelf

Six stations between a raw material and your counter.

Each pack carries a batch number you can check on this site. Behind that number sits this route, and a record of every station it passed.

  1. 01

    Raw materials in

Every drum is sampled at the gate in Sagamu and held in quarantine until the laboratory clears it.

  2. 02

    Weigh and mix

Weighed in a closed booth against the batch record, then blended to a set time and speed.

  3. 03

    Make and fill

Tablets pressed, liquids filled, powders sealed. In process checks every thirty minutes.

  4. 04

    Test and release

Samples go to Ibadan. A qualified pharmacist signs the release only when every test passes.

  5. 05

    Store and move

Into the warehouse, then onto vans that log temperature every five minutes on the road.

  6. 06

    On your shelf

Delivered in a window you chose, with an invoice you can pay in your trade account.

06Check a pack

Every Lumen pack has a batch number. Check it here.

Type the code printed beside the expiry date, for example LPG-26-0917. We show when it was made, when it was released and which tests it passed.

Try LPG-26-0917 for a released batch, or LPG-25-0042 to see how a precautionary withdrawal looks. Example data for this demo.

We used to call three distributors and still run out of rehydration salts in the rainy season. Now the order goes in on Sunday night and the van is at our door on Tuesday morning, cold box and all.

The batch records are the part I trust. When an inspector visits, every carton on my shelf can be traced back to a signed release.
