How a batch travels from formula to shelf
- Day 1
Weighed and mixed
Pigments and shea are weighed to a tenth of a gram, then milled for 40 minutes so the colour is even from the first bottle to the last.
- Day 2
Shade checked against the master
Every batch is swatched beside its master shade under daylight lamps and on three volunteers of that depth.
- Day 3
Filled, capped and coded
Lines fill up to 10,000 units a shift. Each unit gets a batch code you can look up in the chat.
- Day 4
Released and dispatched
After micro and stability checks, the batch is released and our trucks leave Ajah at 6am and 3pm.
